FFC would love to announce a Cover Crops Workshop with Clark Harshburger of Mad Ag and Krisan Christensen, owner of Wild Wellspring Farm
In this workshop, learn about the details of how cover crops support soil health, what cover crops to select for certain needs, as well as when/how to plant and terminate. This workshop will include a 45 minute presentation at the Altona Grange Hall, followed by a 45 minute field tour right up the road at Haystack Mountain with Wild Wellspring Farm.

6:30-7:15pm field visit
- Goals of the practice within the system
- How cover crops are being implemented at Wild Wellspring Farm
- Look at the soil, species we selected, and discuss crop rotation
